Lately I have been struggling with eating most of the time. It got a little better after the last procedure but it then went back to me having a problem each time I eat.
Let me explain. The procedure does work. It stretches the area. The problem is not enough compared to how much air I suck in while swallowing. So it is a daily struggle.
Today July 7th, I met with my oncologist and we discussed the process to move onto next. We are going to try some muscle or anti spasmatic drug to help aid and let it relax. What I am referring to is the new esophagus known as my past stomach. I will take this drug three time per day. Let’s cross our fingers it works. I will get back to you on that.
All in all my first chemo/immune therapy in full. I had been going every two weeks, so now it’s once per month but double the dosage. Once I got home I was pretty tired and slept for a few hours. And here I am blogging late at night.
That’s it for now folks.
